Here’s what Filipino Pokemon Trainers need to know!
Pokemon RUN 30: Run Into the Future with Pokemon!
After a year and a half of the first Pokemon Run event, it’s finally back, and with a much bigger scale!
Under the theme “Run Into the Future with Pokemon”, Pokemon RUN 30: Philippines edition will be held on Oct 3 – 4, 2026, at SM Mall of Asia! Here’s the event details:
- Dates: October 3 – 4, 2026
- Venue: SM Mall of Asia
- Course: Fun Run (Approx. 5km)
- Participation Fee (Inclusive of a Special Pokemon RUN 30 Runner’s Kit!)
- P2,450 – 5KM Standard
- P3,450 – 5KM Premium (inclusive of a Pikachu Shoulder Plushie!)
- Regional Sponsors:
- 7 – ELEVEN
- UNIQLO
Participants will become Pokemon Trainers, running into an interactive themed course in which casual and hardcore fans are sure to love! Before the run starts, each participant will be choosing their first Pokemon at the starting line, and when it starts, trainers are going to experience the following:

Pokemon Gym: A bunch of interactive obstacles that are designed to test a Trainer’s Will and Spirit!

Pokemon Center: Refreshment stations where Trainers can hydrate to recover their health and energy!

Pokemon Tasks: Trainers are tasked to fill out their Pokedex by meeting different Pokemon along the way, and collecting special stickers!
And upon finishing, trainers will witness their chosen starter to evolve!
For every runner who registers for the running event, they will be given the following:
- Pokemon RUN 30 T-Shirt
- Pokemon RUN 30 Drawstring Bag
- Type Themed Bib
- Each runner will get to pick between grass, fire, or water for their bib!
- Poke Ball Themed Arm Band
- Pokemon RUN 30 Pokedex Search Sheet
- First Partner Pokemon Lenticular Card
- Their first partner Pokemon will correspond to their chosen bibs.
- Pokemon RUN 30 Pikachu Shoulder Plushie (Only included in the 5KM Premium)
- Pokemon Trading Card Game Booster Pack
For those who aren’t fond of running (baka hindi pa nabibigyan ng running shoes), Pokemon RUN 30: Run into the Future with Pokemon will be featuring a Pokemon Festival Zone which is open to the public for free!

- Will be offering a special 30th anniversary merch!

Pokemon Time Tunnel
- A retrospective journey exploring Pokemon’s extensive history. On how the Pokemon Videogames started, the start of the Pokemon Trading Card Game, the beloved animated series, and Pokemon’s local licensing initiatives!

Pokemon Experience Zone
- For those who haven’t tried some of the new games, this zone will be featuring the Nintendo Switch 2 Titles!
- A hands-on teaching experience for the Pokemon Trading Card Game (TGC), the mobile apps, and many more!
There will also be Pikachu Parades, Meet and Greets, Themed Photo Spots, and Sponsor Booths for fans to fully immerse themselves in a 30th anniversary that Pokemon could only pull off!
First Limited-Time Pokemon Center POP-UP Store in the Philippines!
SM Supermalls has officially partnered with Pokemon for their 30th Anniversary Celebrations!
With this partnership, the first ever limited-time Pokemon Center POP-UP STORE will be available in SM Mall of Asia!
The Pokemon Center POP-UP STORE will be open from October 2026 to January 2026! Featuring a wide selection of official Pokemon merch and products like plushies and trading cards, it will also be featuring special 30th anniversary merchandise! Make sure to keep a look out to see what these merch will be.
A Mega Tour Around the Philippines!
Paired with the POP-UP STORE, there will be a six-month tour at SM Supermalls that will happen from October 2026 to March 2027. These are the participating malls:

PokeXciting! In Manila!
A large-scale party-style celebration that brings fun, nostalgia, and interactive experiences across generations, PokeXciting will surely bring great thunder to the 30th anniversary!
PokeXciting will be taking place on January 23 to 24, 2027 at SM Mall of Asia! In the event, trainers can meet their favorite Pokemon during the special Meet and Greet sessions and explore exclusive PokeXciting Manila-themed merch featuring the red-costumed PokeXciting Pikachu!
PokeXciting! Pikachu is a special Pikachu that brings the party vibes to every city! PokeXciting! Pikachu will have different-colored costumes per city, for Manila, it will be rocking a starry-specked hairdo!
PokeXciting will also be featuring a Pokemon Parade, accompanied by a lively musical procession, for all trainers to enjoy. At night, trainers can enjoy the High-Voltage Night Stage featuring our party-rocker PokeXciting! Pikachu! At the High-Voltage Night Stage, there will be shocking performances and stage production that will ensure a memorable night for the trainers!
