GEEK+POP Resbak & PICCS 2026 turned into a massive crossover of gaming, collectibles, creators, and hobby culture as fans packed the venue for everything from fighting games and tabletop matches to high-value card auctions and indie showcases.

One of the highlights was Gaming Pinas’ interview with Good Knight Collective, the developers and animators behind Sepak U, a locally developed title blending Filipino street culture with over-the-top arcade energy. The team shared more about the game’s development, animation work, and the growing support for indie creators in the Philippine scene.

The event floor itself was stacked with activity. Competitive fighting game setups drew crowds throughout the day, while hobby tables featured miniature war games, trading card displays, and collectors showing off rare finds from Pokémon, One Piece, and other franchises. Beyblade collectors and enthusiasts also brought massive displays featuring both modern and older-generation parts.

A major crowd magnet during the event was the live auction segment, where collectors bid aggressively on rare graded cards and sealed collectibles. Some pieces reportedly climbed from ₱15,000 all the way past ₱80,000, with several Pokémon and One Piece cards becoming the center of bidding wars.

Beyond the auctions and tournaments, GEEK+POP Resbak & PICCS 2026 felt more like a giant hobby meetup than a traditional convention. Everywhere you looked, there were communities forming around niche interests — from arcade sticks and TCG collecting to indie games and anime merchandise.
